As of today we are retiring the Free Institution Of Music, Paranormal Reality, Dark Soul Comics, the Writers Network, and all of the forums and wikis we have on our server. This is something we’ve needed to do for a while, but I’ve just not been able to make myself do it yet. I am going to miss the idea of those sites working, but in reality I will never be able to get them all going by myself. None of the rest of the Unbounded Productions team does any web design or web work at all so it’s always been left up to me to do it all.
Today we have also started an upgrade to the Lets Play site and service. From now on the service will be known as Lets Play: Gaming Entertainment, and only focus on gaming. All other entertainment news and references will be removed from the site. We are updating the YouTube and Official Site to reflect the new changes right now. We will begin adding game information one game at a time, and most likely will do it as we play the games. We will take request via our FaceBook page though, and post pages for games we’ve already played as we can get to them.
We will be looking for additional video creators and content managers for Lets Play: Gaming Entertainment as well. If you or someone you know might be interested please get in touch with us via our FaceBook page.

Starting next week we will be working on updating the site to a new more usable design. We will be removing a lot of the current photos, and completely redoing the way we list our photos. We are hoping to be able to get a new custom gallery system going that will double as a store system too.
We will post more about the update as we get things going a little more.
The site may be down at anytime over the next few weeks, and may appear completely out of whack if it is up. We will be upgrading to a new theme, and integrating twitter with different system than we currently use. The update to our current system will not work as it conflicts with our comments system. We will also be working on a new store, and revamping every other page or bit of information on the site. Some things may be deleted as well.
Our current photos will be undergoing a quality check, and we will be somewhat if not totally redoing our gallery system. We are hoping to create a gallery system that works with our store system. Other changes may occur as well.
We’ve updated the theme, fixed several bugs with the old gallery system’s display, updated a lot of information, deleted several pages, and fixed various other things. Thursday we will begin work on the new gallery / store system. We are contemplating a way to host all of the photos from our photo shoots in one way, and host only store worthy photos in another. If anyone has any ideas please let us know.
Since we’ve slowed down with our normal work we’ve gotten back into fixing up the old subsidiary sites we run. We are mainly focusing on the Lets Play site at the moment. We are upgrading the site to use a completely new sub content system, which won’t bog down the WordPress host system.
If you get a chance please stop by the site, and let us know what you think of how it’s coming along.
Yesterday, after making a few plans, we started working on cleaning out our junk room. The junk room and adjacent room will be made into our art studio, photography studio, and office. We will be working on this for probably a week or two straight, but still trying to do other things those days as well.
Currently our office is in our recording studio, and the space is getting really tight. The photography stuff is in my bedroom in the corner, which also doubles as my game playing area. There’s just not enough room in either place to really do the business right. I can’t wait until we get the office space finished.
We have just finished getting our new office in order. It took a lot of work, but things are great.
Not only do I own and run Unbounded Productions, but I also am the head writer and lead guitarist for the band Blissful Misery. Unbounded Productions was actually started as Unbounded Music as a music label and recording studio for Blissful Misery back in 2001. Now that the brief history is done for let me get to the good stuff…
Blissful Misery has entered a writing, rewriting, and conversion stage. There are about 133 songs that the band will be working on getting fully written over the rest of this year. In all honestly the goal is about 50% of the total. There are currently 6 completely finished songs, and a few that are about 90% finished. Up until the last year there were about 50 to 60 songs the band considered complete, but, when entering the new rendition of the band, it was decided that vocal melodies and keyboards would be added to every song as well.
The new list of songs contains any and everything that I, Michael, have written, which includes songs with just lyrics, a single guitar track, dual guitar tracks, or piano tracks. This does include songs from all previous renditions of the band, WYRM, Unbounded, and a few other eras. Blissful Misery is using Guitar Pro 6 to write and convert songs into the new GP6 score format, which can be easily and greatly used for backing tracks in practice. Recordings will be made for any live performance backing tracks needed, which can also be easily done by exporting the music score as midi, and importing that into Sonar.
Also, Jessica will be taking on the task of lyric writing, re-writing, and rearranging. I will be writing all of the music, and vocal melodies. We are having a wonderful time with this, and hope to eventually bring our music to the world in some format.
