I tried to make the clouds really pop in this set, and the photos look a lot better to me now. I done a lot of noise reduction as well, which always seems to be needed in sky photos.

This entire set needed what I call the “POP” effect, which is basically setting the brightness, shadows, highlights, and color saturation so everything looks more dynamic and vibrant. I love making cloudy sky photos pop.

I always love taking photos of the Moon, but they always turn out different. I wanted to bring out more of the definition of the Moon’s surface this time, and found a process that worked pretty good.

I love doing sky photos, and have retouched these to make the sky pop a little more. I’ve also processed all of these photos with noise reduction.
